Tiffins – Is it Really Worth 2 Credits in the Disney Dining Plan?
At Disney World, you always hear about the culinary wonderlands in Magic Kingdom and Epcot…but you need to keep an eye out for this hidden gem, the next time you’re visiting the Animal Kingdom Park.
Is Tiffins a Signature Restaurant at Disney?
The Tiffins Restaurant, located in Animal Kingdom’s Discovery Island, is the fine dining experience you’ve been waiting for at Walt Disney World. At Tiffans, Asian, African, and Latin cuisine come together as a testament to the creators of Animal Kingdom and their trip through the east that inspired the delightful park. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch or making a dinner party reservation…there’s a world of flavors awaiting you at Tiffins.

Tiffins Menu Items
That being said, it’s worth noting that while every restaurant at Walt Disney World is family-friendly, Tiffins is most suitable for older kids, as well as adults. I took my two oldest daughters to an early dinner there for the first time after an adventurous day of hanging out around the Animal Kingdom park. Tiffins in definelty worth using two credits from the Disney Dining Plan. If you don’t have the dining plan, I highly suggest Chef’s Lunch Tasting Menu for $35 per person. For this price, choose one appetizer AND one entree OR choice of one entree AND Dessert.
Our meals were an exotic adventure that mirrored the spirit of the park itself. We tried fishermans’ stew, lobster mac-and-cheese, surf and turf, and more! Everything was so delicious. For dessert, we tried the Lion King dessert platter, the whipped cheesecake, and the Tiffins Trio – Guava mousse, whipped cheesecake, and South American Chocolate Ganache.
The next time we visit, we’ll explore different parts of the menu – there’s so much to try! Start with stellar appetizers like spiced chickpea falafel, charred octopus, avocado and tomato salad, and more! For your main course, try the shrimp and grits, butter chicken, pan-seared Alaskin halibut, or another of the amazing options. For dessert, take your tastebuds on a trip! Taste Passion Fruit Tapioca Cream, South American Chocolate Ganache, or Halo-Halo – sweet potato ice cream, jackfruit, and raspberry-ginger sorbet. Whatever you choose, Tiffins is always the best choice when looking for somewhere to eat at Animal Kingdom.
