Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Attractions
First, let’s play! Two brand-new attractions are awaiting you at Galaxy’s Edge. Join Rey, Han Solo, Princess Leia and more on Millenium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. A thrilling interactive mission that takes you through outer space as you assist intergalactic pirate Hondo Ohnaka to smuggle goods throughout the galaxy. Riders will step directly into a real-life Millenium Falcon that is exact down to every last detail. Then, you’ll have the opportunity to man one of six positions aboard the ship (two pilots, two flight engineers, and two gunners) and you’ll actually get to fly the ship!
The second attraction at Galaxy’s Edge, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opens in December 2019. In this exciting new attraction, you’ll come face to face with some of your favorite characters from the current trilogy, such as Kylo Ren, Poe Dameron, and more, as you navigate through a mission.
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Dining Options
Next, let’s eat. There are plenty of treats in the Star Wars universe that I know you’re just dying to try. So luckily, there’s five different places to dine in throughout the Galaxy’s Edge.
First is Kat Saka’s Kettle, where local grain merchant Kat Saka offers a multitude of snacks like specialty popcorn. Next is the Milk Stand, where guests can purchase Green and Blue milk that is made with an almond milk base and tropical added flavors.
Ronto Roasters features a former podracing engine that has been transformed into a grill/ barbecue pit. Here you can purchase Ronto Wraps and Nuna Turkey Jerky. Oga’s Cantina, run by alien proprietor Oga Garra, is a new lounge that serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Delicious concoctions including Jedi Mind Trick, Bloody Rancor, T-16 Skyhopper, The Outer Rim, and more are available for tasting. Last but not least is the Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo! A quick-service restaurant where you can purchase delicious Batuu-inspired meals such as the smoked Kaadu ribs, fried Endorian Tip-Yip, and more.
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Market
Lastly, let’s shop. In The Market, there are four shops: the Creature Stall, where you can pick up an other-worldly furry stuffed animal. The Toydarian Toymaker, where you can find fun novelty objects like music boxes and puzzle cubes. The Black Spire Outfitters, where you’ll find robes and other clothing worn by residents of Batuu. Lastly, the Jewels of Bith, where you can purchase Black Spire Outpost merchandise like shirts, mugs and pins.
In Black Spire Outpost, you’ll find the big ticket items – custom robots, lightsabers, and other objects that certainly live up to the hype from Star Wars’ fans. Fan favorites include the Droid Depot, where you can customize, create and take home your own droid like R2D2 or BB-8. Savi’s Workshop, where you can build your own custom lightsaber; and shops like the Resistance Supply and First Order Cargo, which sell merchandise for their respective sides.
