How To Celebrate Octoberfest In Orlando
Octoberfest originated in Germany as a two week festival to celebrate the marriage of the king and queen. The festival culminates on the first Sunday of October. Don’t worry if you’re unable to take a joint across the pond to celebrate. I’ve got your ticket on how to celebrate Octoberfest in Orlando!
Traditional Octoberfest Foods
My favorite place in Orlando to enjoy delicious food and drinks for Octoberfest is at Duffy’s Sports Grill. You will find this delicious Giant pretzel served with creamy beer cheese sauce for only $6.99. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the beer cheese sauce takes this tradition pretzel to a whole new level.
Traditional Octoberfest Drinks
Wash that pretzel down with your favorite German beers. Choose from St. Pauli Girl or Samuel Adams Octoberfest. Other great deals on drinks from Duffy’s extensive drink menu including buckets of beer with your choice of top tier beers including Heineken (5 for $15). Draft beers range in price from 2 pints for $5-$8. each and 22oz. Big Mugs are 2 for $11.
Duffy’s serves up traditional German favorites including Wiener Schnitzel. Duffy’s Brat Burger is the star of the show. A brat burger topped with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and spicy mustard served on a warm soft bun melts in your mouth. I’m not a huge fan of sauerkraut so I wasn’t sure if the sauerkraut would be overwhelming. I promise you it isn’t. The Brat Burger has the perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and sauerkraut. This hearty burger provides perfect flavor reminiscent of German roots in every bite!
Finish your meal off with seasonal pumpkin mini donuts served warm with caramel dipping sauce!
In addition to Duffy’s Sports Grill Octoberfest offerings, their daily specials are amazing. Food freshly prepared with top quality ingredients at affordable prices make Duffy’s my favorite local hot spot! With several locations throughout Florida, choose between Duffy’s in Waterford Lakes or Mall at Millenia in Orlando.
