Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. The spooky celebration happens coincide with my husband’s birthday. I often wonder if he is a trick or a treat due to his spooktacular desire to surprise the daylights out of me when I’m least expecting it.

While shopping at Target this past week, I found my favorite Halloween Monsters’ cereal, Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® and Franken Berry®! This discovery is a gentle reminder. I better get on the ball to start planning our upcoming Halloween celebration.

#SpooktacularSnacks 2

Exclusive this year at Target, when you purchase Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® and Franken Berry®  Monsters’ cereal  you can create a spooky Monster’s Castle! On the back of each box is 1 (out of 3) part of a castle that you cut out and assemble all together!

To inspire our Halloween creativity. I picked up a few boxes to create a tasty snack and to use the Monsters’ Castle as a part of our Halloween decorations! My kids absolutely love anytime I buy Monsters’ Cereal. Plus, the option to build a spooky Monsters’ Castle was an added bonus they couldn’t wait to get started on. We spent the afternoon around the kitchen table munching on cereal straight out of the box, like rebels!

To build your Monsters’ Castle, you will need to buy one box each of Count Chocula®, Boo Berry® and Franken Berry® to have all the necessary pieces. You will need blunt tip scissors to cut out pieces along the white dotted lines. Since the angles need to be precise, I cut the pieces and my kids assembled the castle! You can find directions on the side panel of the cereal box. They are very simple to follow. After building our spooktacular Monsters’ castle, the kids were still  a little hungry so we created a tasty, spooktacular snack!
