Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tips What You Need To Know Before You Go!
Everyone’s favorite spooky holiday is just around the corner and, as always, Walt Disney World has stepped up to the forefront of Halloween parties in the park. From pumpkins, decorations, costumes and trick-or-treating, Mickey Mouse and his friends always put on the best Halloween celebration of all theme parks.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party opened at the Magic Kingdom on August 17th and will be open on select nights until Halloween night, October 31st.
Trick-or-treating at Walt Disney World is a fun and exciting Halloween experience for all ages. Trick-or-Treat stations, scattered all around the Magic Kingdom, are open all night and have a great selection of candy to collect: M&M’s, Snickers, Skittles, Dove Chocolate, and more! And for a healthier option, Go-Go Squeeze Applesauce is also available at select Trick-or-Treat stations. Stations are marked with a neon orange sign. Bring your trick-or-treat bag from home or use one provided for you by Disney. Fill your bag with goodies at treat locations around the park including the entrance to Splash Mountain, the Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor, inside the Pinocchio Village Haus, Liberty Square, and more! Trick-or-Treating is encouraged throughout the party for guests of all ages. You are never to old to experience a little bit of Disney magic.Allergy friendly offerings are available for trick-or-treaters with food allergies. Just ask a cast member for a teal treat bag.
Costumes aren’t just allowed at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, they’re encouraged! Cast members and visitors alike can be seen in full costume of characters like the Sanderson Sisters of Hocus Pocus, Jack and Sally of A Nightmare Before Christmas, and more! Costumes are commended on party nights — the spookier, the better!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ends with a fantastic lights and fireworks show starring the Sanderson Sisters of Hocus Pocus. Watch as they conjure spirits, perform magic spells, and put on a spooky show! Frightening friends like the Oogie Boogie Man from The Nightmare Before Christmas and the Shadow Man from The Princess and The Frog will also appear onstage alongside the sisters.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a specialty ticketed event meaning even if you are an annual pass holder, you will need to purchase a separate ticket to attend. Character appearances in their best Halloween attire are plentiful during the party. Enjoy specialty food like the Minnie Witch brownie available at Casey’s Corner and event merchandise including event trading pins available at Frontier Trading Post.
