With our oldest daughter Skyler’s recent high school graduation, I’ve been trying to create memories and enjoy her company before she ventures off to college. The weeks leading up to graduation felt like a marathon without a moment to breathe for anyone. I wanted to enjoy a nice meal, have a chance to relax as a family, and discover the new seasonal flavor combinations on Marlow’s Tavern Waterford Lakes menu since our last visit.

Marlow’s Tavern Fare With A Twist You Must Taste

My husband and I really enjoy Marlow’s, unique handcrafted cocktails. The “Rambling Rose”, is made with Brockmans Gin, lemon verbena, simple syrup, lemon, Aquafaba and Blackberry Lavender Bitters. The sweet and sour combination is delightfully refreshing and is a fabulous palate cleanser in between bites.

For my entree, I tasted and highly recommend the “Tavern ‘Slammin’ Steak Sandwich”. What makes this sandwich unique is the steak is served chilled, not warm as a traditional steak . Sliced sous vide marinated flank steak is piled high on a buttery roll, then topped with chow-chow, fresh cilantro and firecracker sauce. This sandwich is a unique option for a light meal on a warm summer day. Delicious bites of tender buttery steak bursting with flavor from the firecracker sauce and fresh cilantro. The Rambling Rose &  Tavern Slammin Steak Sandwich are new seasonal options on the menu!

My husband is a traditionalist. When dining at a restaurant, he usually orders a burger. This tricky menu item is difficult to master, even for the most seasoned chef. At Marlow’s, you can expect a burger cooked to perfection. A grilled medium pink center parlays a juicy bite of a burger every time! His favorite classic Marlow’s Tavern Waterford Lakes menu item is the “Tavern Burger” – a perfectly seasoned burger topped with romaine lettuce, thin sliced red onion, with a Roma tomato on a toasted sesame brioche roll.

Marlow’s offers delicious seasonal flavor to spice up the menu.
