How To Make Lasagna
The main secret to flawless lasagna is to make sure you drain and fully dry your lasagna noodles before assembling the dish. Then follow these 10 steps to create a pan of lasagna that will even impress the most tough food critic!
Instructions on How To Make Lasagna
1. Brown Italian Sausage in a skillet. Drain grease and combine in sauce pan with pasta sauce.
2. Cook pasta noodles according to directions on the box. (Boil for 10 minutes and drain.)
3. Lay paper towels on the counter and place pasta noodles on top, then cover with paper towels. This step ensures pasta is completely dry to prevent wet, and runny lasagna.
4. In pan, place a spoonful of sauce mixture on the bottom, then add 3 lasagna noodles.
5. On top of pasta noodles spread a layer of ricotta cheese, then add a thin layer of mozzarella cheese.
6. Spread a thin layer of sauce mixture, add a layer of noodles, a layer of ricotta cheese, and mozzarella.
7. Then add a layer of noodles, a layer of pasta sauce, and another layer of noodles.
8. Cover pan with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
9. Remove from oven and cover noodles with a layer of mozzarella.
