Fresh From Florida How To Eat More Fruits And Veggies In Your Diet
This post was sponsored by Fresh From Florida as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central, however all opinions expressed are my own.

Does thoughts of Florida bring to mind sunny days lounging on the beach with your toes in the sand? Or maybe thoughts of princesses, a grand castle, and the happiest place on earth are first on your mind when thinking of the Sunshine state! While beaches, and the mouse’s house are definite perks of Florida living, nature’s true bounty is all of the fruits and veggies fresh from Florida.

Since our family moved to Florida two years ago, my mission has been to develop easy tips and techniques on how to eat more fruits and veggies. Living in the sunshine state has made it easy to enjoy fresh from the farm,  Florida fruits and veggies year-round. Shopping at my local grocery store twice per week makes fresh fruits and veggies more accessible and available to our family.

On Sundays, I shop at Publix and Winn Dixie to gather fruits and veggies that are in season. When shopping for produce in season, fruits and veggies will be in abundance, at the peak of freshness and most flavorful.

Every Wednesday, I visit my local Aldi’s to gather another bundle of fresh fruits and veggies. Shopping for produce bi-weekly is the best method on how to eat more fruits and veggies. Choosing healthy snacks and meals are so much easier when fresh produce is on the counter and at eye level in the refrigerator.  I perfectly position fresh fruit and veggies to be in the areas my family members look first.
