Holidays at Disney Animal Kingdom
The events at Walt Disney World always go above and beyond expectations during the Christmas season. This year’s holiday celebration at the Animal Kingdom park is no exception to the rule! After spending a night at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, head on over to Animal Kingdom to experience these subtle holiday delights that are sure to bring Christmas cheer to every guest at the park!
At the center of the park, the Tree of Life Awakenings are the star of the show! Each evening, the Tree of Life awakens to explore a host of wintertime stories, accompanied by a festive musical score. You won’t want to miss this heartwarming display!
In Asia, the residents are gearing up to celebrate Diwali, the Indian celebration of lights. Lights, glowing flowers, and more have been used to decorate the theatre square of Anandapur in a festive spirit. In Africa, the styles of Western traditions are blending together with the flavors of authentic African celebrations as the town of Harambe prepares for visitors.
In Pandora, The World of Avatar, the residents have decorated their interstellar home. These decorations culminate in front of Pongu Pongu, a festive display of vintage pieces of memorabilia from Earth alongside native materials and supplies from Pandora.
Just in time for the holidays are Disney’s collectible holiday themed popcorn buckets! Also, new this year is The Mickey Jingle Bell Sipper.
Santa Mickey Mouse souvenir popcorn bucket is my all time favorite. Not only is he cute but I can bring him back to the park for an affordable popcorn refill! I found the Christmas tree popcorn bucket, Mickey Santa bucket, and the Jingle Bell Sipper all at Animal Kingdom! These will sell out fast so I highly suggest you add them to you Christmas list and get to Animal Kingdom fast!
In Dinoland U.S.A, the prehistoric park has come to life with holiday cheer! Join Donald Duck and all his friends for Donald’s Dino Bash. A fun event inspired by Dinoland’s decorations, which Donald’s friends have all chosen based on their unique styles.
