Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter Beignets And Disney’s Beignet Burger You Must Try
At the French Quarter in Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, it feels like a Mardi Gras celebration every day! The Creole cuisine, delectable dishes and superb sides that the French Quarter’s restaurants have to offer will make you feel like you’re partying non-stop down Bourbon Street during your Disney Vacation!
The French Quarter’s main restaurant, the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, sounds like a place pulled straight from a list of authentic places to eat in New Orleans, and it feels like one too! Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory serves a multitude of Creole and Cajun cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The restaurant is split up into five delectably different ‘shops’ — the Grill Shop, the Carving Shop, the Pizza and Pasta Shop, the Po Boy Shop, and for dessert, the Bakery Shop.
At the Grill Shop, chefs cook up several types of burgers, a Creole Cheese Steak Po’Boy, and chicken sandwiches. A favorite at the Grill Shop is the Beignet Burger, where a burger patty and all the fix’ins are dressed up atop two ‘buns’ made of beignets. It’s a delicious New Orleans favorite with a twist of Disney magic!
At the Carving Shop, an array of barbecue is available. Ribs, blackened ribeye, fried chicken, chicken’n’waffles, and more are available to enjoy!
At the Pizza and Pasta Shop, mainstream pizzas are available like the Mighty Meat Pizza and the Very Veggie Pizza. You can also create your own pizza with toppings right in front of you! The specialty pasta at the Pizza and Pasta Shop is Shrimp and Grits.
At the Po’Boy shop, classic Creole dishes are available. Jambalaya, Shrimp Po’ Boys, Muffuletta, and Gumbo are all readily available to enjoy!

For dessert, the Bakery Shop offers an array of delectable dishes to enjoy, like signature cupcakes, Mickey brownies, ice cream, mini-pies, and even Mickey-shaped beignets! Don’t worry If you’ve enjoyed your food a little to much and have no room left for dessert. A Disney cast member will kindly package your sweet treats to go if asked!
