Hi my name is Marla & I’m a snacker!
Ok, so seriously I LOVE snack foods. Forget three square meals a day. I prefer to snack my way through the day. Once the kids go to bed, my guilty pleasure is chips and dip. When I started this transition to a heather lifestyle, I was at a loss of what to substitute for my favorite late night snack.
Step one when making changes to your diet should be reading the ingredients of the foods you buy. After looking at the mile long list of ingredients in packaged store bought chip dip, which includes mostly chemicals I couldn’t pronounce. I knew I needed to come up with a better solution.
Dill Dip Recipe
1 Cup Stonyfield Greek Yogurt
2 teaspoons dill
1 teaspoon onion powder
Stir well and then refrigerate to allow flavors to blend.
Keep in mind you can double the recipe and just keep in a covered dish in the refrigerator. My favorite chip to accompany this dip is Late July Organic Sea Salt by the Seashore Multigrain Tortilla Chips. Late July tortilla chips are made with whole grains, gluten free, and crisp enough to withstand dipping! The creamy, tartness from Stonyfield Greek yogurt is the perfect balance with the saltiness of Late July Organic tortilla chips! Not in the mood for chips, this dill dip recipe is great with veggies! The options are endless! Happy dipping!
