Cocktails For Spring Celebrations Featuring Captain Morgan Rum & Crown Royal

Spring showers bring May flowers and NEW flavors of Captain Morgan Rum! Are you craving sun, sweltering heat, and Caribbean-inspired drinks? Captain Morgan has added pineapple, coconut, and grapefruit to their portfolio for your drinking pleasure!

As the temperature starts to rise, I love to enjoy cocktails with a tropical flare. The flavors of pineapple, coconut, citrus, and mango remind me of relaxing on  the beach. Lounging in a cabana with a tropical drink in my hand, complete with the cute little umbrella dancing gingerly in my cocktail glass is pure heaven to me!

While daily commitments of work, school days for the kids, and the hustle of life demand attention instead of a much needed tropical vacation.  I want to share a few of my favorite spring cocktails with you. Keep these recipes handy to create a tropical escape any night of the week!

Caribbean Dream
1.5oz Captain Morgan Pineapple Rum
3 oz Mango Diced & Frozen
3 oz Orange Juice
Mix all ingredients in the blender & serve immediately!

The Shark Puncher 
9 oz. Captain Morgan Coconut Rum
9 oz. Orange juice
3 oz. Ruby red grapefruit juice
6 oz. Cranberry juice
Combine all ingredients including CAPTAIN MORGAN® Coconut Rum in a pitcher and stir.

Golden Delicious 
1.5oz. Crown Royal Regal Apple
1oz. Pineapple Juice
1 Dash angostura bitters
Add ingredients to high ball. Top with ginger ale and lemon garnish.

 

Palomaloha
1.5 oz. Captain Morgan Grapefruit Rum
Juice of ½ lime
Grapefruit soda to top
Fill tall glass with ice. Pour in Captain Morgan® Grapefruit Rum, lime juice and grapefruit

Spritz Tzu 
3 oz. Chateau La Paws Chardonnay
1 oz. Elderflower Liqueur
2 oz. Club Soda
Lemon Twist

Fill rocks glass with ice. Pour in Chateau La Paws Chardonnay, elderflower liqueur and club soda. Garnish with lemon twist.
