During the Family Forward conference we had the chance to dine at Vivo Italian Kitchen, located at Universal CityWalk! Vivo is the perfect blend of the best of old and new Italian. Located just a few steps from Universal’s resort water taxi dock at CityWalk, Vivo Italian Kitchen is the perfect dining destination for Universal Studios guests, families, and locals seeking a cocktail during happy hour!
The sleek modern decor at Vivo has a trendy vibe featuring plenty of seating at the bar and for families in the main dining area!
The open kitchen viewing area at Vivo gives a birdseye into daily preparations of pasta made fresh on site. As I walked by the hang in pasta, it felt as if I had been transported to Italy!
Then we had the Classic Ceasar featuring romaine, croutons, Grana Padano, tossed in an anchovy caesar dressing. So delicious!
My lasagna featured pasta layers, bolognese, parmesan, mozzarella, creamy white sauce! They creamy white sauce is what made this lasagna stand out from any other lasagna I’ve ever had. Truly unique and a must try when at Universal CityWalk!
My kiddos were adventurous to sample Squid Ink Seafood. This pasta entree features shrimp, clams, squid, white wine, basil, with black spaghetti! The seafood was so fresh and the white wine sauce was the perfect compliment to the squid ink pasta!
