Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen is now open at Universal Orlando CityWalk! This highly anticipated eatery is located next to the entrance of Universal Studio Orlando theme park! Just look for the enormous smokestacks jutting into the skyline. Upon entry, your eyes will be delighted with dark, luxurious steampunk decor!
Toothsome Chocolate Emporium is a full service restaurant open daily at 11:00am for lunch and dinner daily. My daughter’s birthday provided the perfect opportunity for our first visit to the chocolate emporium! Check out the video above for the full tour!
We started our meal off with Toothsome’s signature appetizer, warm chocolate almond bread. Think warm, sweet, and fresh chocolate almond bread with big pieces of chocolate baked right in the bread. Then take this baked delight to the next level when you slather on top, salted caramel butter. For only $2.95, this is an extremely affordable and sharable appetizer! Plenty big enough to feed our family of six!
Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen offers an assortment of signature cocktails, drinks, and specialty beverages. My husband and I opted for a few adult beverages! I highly recommend The Wicked Cherry (on the right) featuring Mount Gay Black Barrel rum, cherry Heering liqueur, Creme de framboise, and chocolate bitters. Prefer a fruity drink? My favorite is The Peach Smash(on the left) featuring Old Forester 86, peach purée, fruit juice, and aromatic bitters!
While enjoying our cocktails, we glanced through the expansive menu featuring everything from burgers, steak, and seafood plus crepes and quiche. The unique offerings fill an entire book!
These pork belly sliders were so delicious! We immediately put in a request for another order. Chocolate dipped bacon on top of a pretzel bun with pork belly, and caramelized onions, topped with a mustard aioli was a decadent!
If you want to something different from your traditional burger or steak, opt for Chicken Bercy! This entree features boneless chicken breast with a white wine demi-glaze with fresh herbs, mushrooms and shallots. Served with asparagus nestled on top of Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. I absolutely love the demi-glaze! I wish I could bottle it up and take it home by the gallon!
If you prefer a sandwich, my daughter gave two thumbs up for the fried chicken! My husband couldn’t wait for me to take a picture of his Blue Plate Burger! The Blue Plate Burger’s got it’s name because it literally is an entire meal sandwiched between a bun! Bring a big appetite for this half pound house made patty topped with a slice of grilled meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes, Wisconsin cheddar cheese, and sweet corn, on a toasted brioche with bordelaise sauce!
Now for the star of the show! My kids couldn’t wait to finish their meal to try Toothsome’s over the top desserts! Milkshakes, sundaes, bread pudding, cake, pie and more! My cream puff and eclair sundae was enormous and oh so good!
Toothsome Chocolate Emporium serves their signature milkshakes in souvenir cups you can take your cup home after your sweet indulgence is done! What milkshakes are best?
Try the Chocolate X5 made with chocolate ice cream, chocolate chunks, and strawberry sauce then topped with fresh whipped cream, chocolate spirals and a cherry on top! The Cheesecake milkshake actually has a slice of cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberry on top! The Cinnamon Fantasy milkshake is created with cinnamon toast crunch ice cream and cinnamon then topped with fresh whipped cream and pieces of Cinnamon Toast Crunch! Bacon is all the rage these days! Order the Bacon Brittle milkshake made with bacon ice cream and bacon brittle, then topped with fresh whipped cream, chocolate covered bacon, and a bacon caramel brittle!
