Fall in Love With Starbucks Fall Blend
Fall is my favorite time of year. Kids return to school, the leaves on the trees start to change, and my daily routine falls back into place after a hectic summer. This fall is particularly bitter sweet. As you might already know, our son Gunner was diagnosed with leukemia last year. We have spent months traveling back and forth for check ups and chemo treatments because his treatment hospital is 90 miles away. I honestly think we spent more time at Dell Children’s hospital than we did at home over the past year. During this time, he was so sick with mucositis and low blood counts dictated he must be homeschooled. Hi oncologist promised he could return to school once he was further in the maintenance phase of treatment. I’m so happy to say, we are at that point! Gunner started back in school with his friends in September. We could be more excited to reach this milestone in his cancer journey.
Now that my days are kid free for a few hours. I’m taking the time to recharge. Brisk mornings are the perfect opportunity to grab a warm cup of Starbucks Fall Blend coffee, snuggle up on the couch with a blanket, and write in my journal. A chance to clear my mind, process the difficult moments we’ve endured as a family, and reflect on the blessings we’ve experienced along the way.
Fall in Love With Starbucks Fall Blend
I’ve had a chance to reconnect with girlfriends over a cup of our favorite Starbucks VIA Instant Pumpkin Spice Latte. My grocery budget is loving the sales on Starbucks as well! Last week I stocked my pantry! Did you see Target was offering a Free $5 gift card when you purchase 3 packages of Starbucks coffee? You can never have enough Starbucks and I like to keep the pantry full with coffee for when friends stop by. I’ve also had the chance to attend a few of my favorite exercise classes and watch my daughter run in her first high school cross country race. I’m loving the opportunity to fall in love with our regular routine as a family again. Our life as a family of six is crazy, hectic, and full of chaos. Thankfully with a full cup of Starbucks in my hand, I have the energy to keep up with it all!
