Full Disclosure: My family was provided with complimentary ticket to visit Sea Life Aquarium in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.
Do you need a kid-friendly educational place to visit that will enable you to escape the summer heat? Sea Life Aquarium in Grapevine Texas is a fun indoor educational destination to keep your kids entertained! My family was invited to Sea Life Aquarium recently to preview the new Turtle Rescue Center. This is the new permanent home for two endangered Kemp’s Ridley sea turtles, Roxy and Squirt. Great care was taken creating the Turtle Rescue Center to ensure the home was suitable for the sea turtles. One turtle, Roxy needs shallow water to be able to move around freely due to an injure she received before being rescued. My kids we so excited to see the sea turtles safe and happy in their new home!
After we viewed Roxy & Squirt’s new home, we decided to explore the est of Sea Life Aquarium. The aquarium in Grapevine is home to more than 5,000 creatures, 30 displays featuring educational information about the animals, and a 360° Underwater Ocean Tunnel!
There are many opportunities for your kids to interact with the animals. My kids couldn’t resist sticking their heads in and becoming a part of the aquarium!
The 360° Underwater Ocean Tunnel was absolutely stunning. My kids though it was insane to walk over top of huge sting-rays!
At the end of Sea Life Aquarium is a fun playground for the kids to let loose and burn off some energy. Socks are required so bring an extra pair if you kids will be wearing flip flops or sandals! There is a designated spot to meet if you should get separated from your kids. I like to show my kids a meeting spot when we visit a new place, just in case one wanders off! This green mom was ecstatic to see Sea Life Aquarium’s commitment to preserving the earth and encouragement to recycle!
