Cocoa Beach is the place to be for fun in the sun. With the majestic Atlantic Ocean churning up unlimited wild waves. Beautiful views can be observed in every direction. Surfers, swimmers, and sun lovers flock to the Cocoa Beach Pier to relax and unwind.
The iconic Cocoa Beach Pier has been the place to fish, surf, or shop since 1962. When you need a refreshing drink or a bite to eat you can visit of several restaurants including Keith’s Oyster Bar, Pelican’s Bar & Grill, The Boardwalk Bar, and Sea Dogs.
The latest edition to dining options on Cocoa Beach include Rikki Tiki Tavern, located at the end of the Pier. The thatched roof, bamboo bar, posts carved to resemble Tiki figures, and seating offering a panoramic view of the ocean.
I had the pleasure to sample some of the menu offering available. The seafood at Rikki Tiki Tavern is the freshest and tastiest I’ve discovered since moving to the Florida coast. A few special items on the menu you shouldn’t miss include jumbo coconut shrimp served with a spicy mango habanero sauce, a fresh seasonal fish sandwich and the Tiki Dog, a Nathan’s Famous hot dog wrapped and fried in an egg roll and served with spicy Asian mustard sauce and sweet and sour sauce.
Visit the new Rikki Tiki Tavern on The Cocoa Beach Pier from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
