You might by familiar with Auntie Anne’s. The fabulous pretzel shop at the mall where you can walk by and witness shear awesomeness as an Auntie Anne’s employee hand rolls and shapes dough into a pretzel in warp speed with the skills of a ninja.
One bite of their cinnamon sugar pretzel has my taste buds singing in delight. Gunner is being homeschooled now because he can’t be exposed to germ with his suppressed immune system. To break up the week when he is feeling ok, we like to take a trip to get one of his favorite pretzels from Auntie Anne’s. He usually opts for a pretzel dog or an original pretzel with sweet mustard dip! On our last trip he decided to be adventurous and selected the pepperoni pretzel! His chemo treatment have made his belly a little upset. But I can always count on an Auntie Anne’s pretzel to make him smile!
Auntie Anne’s Philosophy
“Auntie Anne’s was built on the tradition of caring for others. Founders “Auntie” Anne and Jonas Beiler set out to raise money for a family-counseling center that they later opened. The tradition of giving back continues with Auntie Annes’ rewarding partnerships. When our hands aren’t rolling dough, they are reaching out to make the world a better place.”
Auntie Anne’s & The Mighty Fight
“Auntie Anne’s is helping in the fight against childhood cancer, having raised more than $1 million through in-store fundraising campaigns, coin canister donations, local pretzel-rolling contests, and our C.A.R.E.S. Golf Tournament.”
Auntie Anne’s is a huge supporter of Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Alex’s foundation helps families like mine with children battleing childhood cancer. Since partnering with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation in September 2011, Auntie Anne’s has raised more than one million dollars for childhood cancer research.
From September 12, 2014 to September 15, 2014, Auntie Anne’s is offering a special promotion to support childhood cancer awareness month in partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Sand Foundation. Auntie Anne’s customers who donate $1.00 or more to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation during this time will receive an Auntie Anne’s pretzel card for a free pretzel of their choice, AND a coupon for $1.00 off their next purchase of any pretzel product and drink.
Our love for Auntie Anne’s pretzels began way before Gunner’s diagnosis. Now that Gunner is an Alex’s Lemonade Stand Hero ambassador & I know of the partnership between Alex’s & Auntie Anne’s my families love for the handmade delights has grown tenfold. As consumers we can put our money where our mouths are to support companies that invest in our local communities and give back. I’m beyond impressed with the level of commitment Auntie Anne’s has shown with their partnership with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and my family will continue to support all they do to help raise funds and spread awareness to find a cure for childhood cancer!
